The health of our water resources is the concern of everyone. We clean with it, we cook with it, we flush with it, we work with it, we play with it, we move with it...even our own bodies rely on water to function. Our well-being is tied to our water. Because of this, when our water is threatened, each citizen must actively learn what they can do to protect, preserve, and promote their water.
For those of us fortunate enough to own property in this beautiful area, there are many things we can do to minimize our negative impact on our water resources. We call these types of projects Best Management Practices (BMPs).
