AIS Education

Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Education and Outreach

AIS is a growing problem in many lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the US. Within the CRWD, common AIS issues come from Curly Leaf Pondweed, Eurasian Water Milfoil, and Zebra Mussels.
In an effort to provide education and outreach to residents, the CRWD has hosted AIS Forums. Local government agencies share their programs to assist lake associations in managing AIS and speakers are invited to put the spotlight on certain AIS threats that are of local concern.

Our latest forum was held on April 7, 2022. The event was held virtually so we were able to record it and make it available for you. Click here to watch the recording on YouTube.
