Planning for the Future:
CRWD Comprehensive Watershed Plan
2021-2030

Each watershed within Minnesota is required to complete a 10 Year Comprehensive Watershed Plan. The plan will guide District actions in a coordinated, thoughtful, and effective manner over the period from 2021-2030. Th Plan is developed in collaboration with District partners and community members to help identify priorities and goals and create programs and projects to meet those goals.

The Plan carries forward many of the issues and goals included in the District’s 2010 Watershed Management Plan as well as addresses new issues through new programs and activities. It builds on a strong foundation of programs, projects, and partnerships to address the most immediate water resource management needs and increase the effectiveness of its efforts in the face of new and evolving challenges.

The Plan was approved by the MN Board of Soil and Water Resources in March 2021 and officially adopted by the CRWD Board of Managers on April 17, 2021.
