Board of Managers Meeting
January 13, 2010 - 7:00PM
Annandale Middle School, Annandale, MN
Manager Brunsell called the regular meeting to order at
7:00pm. Manager’s Bob Schiefelbein, Mark Kampa, Marvin Brunsell, Jerry Risberg,
and Roland Froyen were present. Others in attendance were Engineer Rebecca
Kluckhohn, Engineer Norm Wenck, Administrator Merle Anderson, and Assistant
Administrator Dennis Loewen.
Motion #10-01-1: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to adopt
the Agenda. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #10-01-2: Kampa, seconded by Schiefelbein, made a motion to
adopt the Consent Agenda. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #10-01-3: Froyen, seconded by Kampa, made a motion to pay
bills. All Managers voted aye.
Engineer Wenck informed the managers that the monitoring well
in the Clearwater Harbor Area Wastewater Treatment System would be installed on
January 18, 2010. He also suggested that the CRWD amend their watershed
management plan, specifically updating the Total Maximum Daily Load information.
Administrator Anderson indicated that he would be developing
a proposal after contacting the Clear Lake Property Owners Association, to
present to Cory Meierhofer regarding installation of a v-notch weir on his
property.
Assistant Administrator Loewen reported that $16,367 out of
the $25,000 Cedar Lake Project Lake 06-1 Maintenance Assessment has been
received.
Engineer Kluckhohn reviewed the CRWD 2009 Water Quality
Report, which is now on file in the District Office.
Motion #10-01-4: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to receive
the CRWD 2009 Water Quality Report. All Managers voted aye.
Engineer Wenck distributed the Draft 2010 CRWD Brochure for
review.
Motion #10-01-5: Risberg, seconded by Kampa, made a motion to refund
Gerald Altman one unit of the 2009 Cedar Lake Project 06-1 Assessment. All
Managers voted aye.
Engineer Kluckhohn reviewed the grants that the CRWD has
applied for. Engineer Kluckhohn left at 8:55pm.
Assistant Administrator Loewen reviewed the following:
1. A reminder that milfoil permits need to be submitted.
2. 2010 Fish Trap Easement payment is due.
3. Registration for Stearns County shoreland training is due.
4. Reported on the Wastewater Advisory Committee Meeting.
5. Announced the Willow Creek/Kimball stormwater upcoming meeting.
Administrator Anderson announced that Commercial Fisherman
Ken Seeman would seine Swartout Lake as soon as conditions permit.
Motion #10-01-6: Froyen, seconded by Schiefelbein, made a motion to
pay real estate taxes on CRWD property in Meeker County. All Managers
voted aye.
Manager Kampa indicated that an effort is being made to
dredge the Lake Augusta Channel.
Motion #10-01-7: Risberg, seconded by Schiefelbein, made a motion to
adjourn. All Managers voted aye.
