Board of Managers Meeting
November 8, 2006 - 7:00pm
Annandale High School, Annandale, MN
Manager Brunsell called the regular meeting to order at 7:00pm. Managerís
Marvin Brunsell, Bob Schiefelbein, Jerry Risberg, Dennis Loewen, and Mark
Kampa were present. Others in attendance were Merle Anderson, Kelly Bergesch,
Norm Wenck, Stan Weinberger, and Maggie Leach, MN Pollution Control Agency.
The public hearing for Project 06-1 was re-convened and recorded by Huber
Court Reporting of St. Cloud. The attendance record for the public hearing is
in the District Office.
Motion #06-011-1: Kampa, seconded by Loewen, made a motion to adopt the
agenda. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #06-11-2: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to approve the
Consent Agenda. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #06-11-3: Schiefelbein, seconded by Kampa, made a motion to pay bills.
All Managers voted aye.
Maggie Leach, MN Pollution Control Agency, informed the Board that the Phase
II TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Loading) grant application would soon be ready
for district signature.
Engineer Norm Wenck indicated that the final assessment letter for Project
06-1 would be sent on November 9, 2006.
Administrator Anderson informed the managers that an abstract of minutes of
action taken by the Board of Managers would be ready for board signature at
their next regularly scheduled Work Session.
Motion #06-11-4: Schiefelbein, seconded by Loewen, made a motion to authorize
Chairman Brunsell to sign a waiver to not limit the districtís limit of
insurance protection. All Managers voted aye.
Engineer Norm Wenck presented for signature the Stearns County Wastewater
Treatment System Permit for Restawhile Shores.
Manager Kampa and Bromy Excavating have inspected the Lake Augusta erosion
control structure riser and will make repairs next spring.
Motion #06-11-5: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to adjourn the
meeting. All Managers voted aye.
