MINUTES CLEARWATER
RIVER WATERSHED DISTRICT WORK SESSION STANLEY’S RESTAURANT, KIMBALL March 24, 2004
CRWD Work Session was called to order at 6:00p.m. by Manager Virl Liebrenz.
Managers' Virl Liebrenz, Marvin Brunsell, Bob Schiefelbein, and Mark Kampa
were present. Manager Roland Froyen was absent. Also in attendance were
Administrator Merle Anderson, and contractors representing the following
companies: Kober Excavating, Inc, R L Larson Excavating, Inc, Barbarossa &
Sons, Inc, and Kuechle Underground, Inc.
Bids were opened and read aloud for the
Clearwater Harbor Sanitary Sewer System Project with Kober Excavating, Inc.
the apparent low bidder with a bid of $1,144,493.00. All bids are on file in
the CRWD Office and will be reviewed for accuracy.
All contractor representatives left at 6:10p.m.
Others in attendance to review the Kimball Area
Stormwater Management Study were Andy Maus, Chuck Sterling, Ryan Bettenberg,
Diane Robinson, Karla Davis, Jim Unterberger, Eric Altena, and Kent Torve.
Kent Torve, Wenck Associates, Inc. reviewed the
Kimball Area Stormwater Management Study. Copies of this study are on file
with the City of Kimball and the CRWD.
Administrator Anderson distributed draft
Clearwater Harbor Sanitary Sewer System Operation & Maintenance
information and draft Amendment #1 to CRWD Rules & Regulations for
discussion at a later time.
MOTION #WS04-03-01: Motion Schiefelbein, seconded
by Brunsell to sign resolution to extend the MPCA TMDL contract until April
2005. All Managers voted aye.
MOTION #WS04-03-02: Motion Brunsell, seconded by
Schiefelbein to adjourn. All Managers voted aye.
