Clearwater River Watershed District
Board of Managers Meeting
October 11, 2006 - 10:00pm
Annandale High School, Annandale, MN
Manager Brunsell called the regular meeting to order at 10:00pm. Manager’s
Marvin Brunsell, Bob Schiefelbein, Jerry Risberg, Dennis Loewen, and Mark
Kampa were present. Others in attendance were Merle Anderson, Kelly Bergesch,
Norm Wenck, Stan Weinberger, and Maggie Leach, MN Pollution Control Agency.
Motion #06-010-1: Kampa, seconded by Loewen, made a motion to adopt the
agenda. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #06-10-2: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to approve the
Consent Agenda noting that the adopted budget is attached to the regular
meeting minutes. All Managers voted aye.
Stan Weinberger, Attorney, left the meeting at 10:08pm.
Motion #06-10-3: Loewen, seconded by Schiefelbein, made a motion to pay bills.
All Managers voted aye.
Maggie Leach, MN Pollution Control Agency, informed the Board that 173
applications requesting $45 million were received for Clean Water Legacy
Funding, with $7 million available.
Motion #06-10-4: Schiefelbein, seconded by Loewen, made a motion to authorize
Chairman Brunsell to sign a letter agreeing that Dennis Jussila may transfer
one unit of benefit for the Clearwater Harbor Area Sanitary Sewer Project to
one of his remaining parcels. The assessment for the parcel that Mr. Jussila
sold will be paid off at the closing of that sale. Stearns County allowed
splitting of Mr. Jussila’s property that had two units of benefit for the
Clearwater Harbor Area Sanitary Sewer Project. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #06-10-5: Kampa, seconded by Risberg, made a motion to adjourn the
meeting. All Managers voted aye.
